Bernardino di Betto, better known as Pinturicchio - Pintouricius, was a great protagonist of the Umbrian Renaissance: a great gift of nature as is Sangiovese, one of the most important grape varieties in Umbria. It is in Torgiano that it finds its maximum expression in this wine: the Torgiano Rosso Riserva, the first DOCG of the region.
